I must say that although they lost game 1 I felt like they had the better team. The breaks went the Dodgers way, that was the difference.

I said "finalized", the lines come from Vegas. I've never seen that rule broken for a major event on a major sport (non-preseason, etc.).

I think the article below explains it. The LVSC's line is just a guide and the books have to decide what to do with it. It's my opinion that the Vegas books decide how to adjust the line before the internet books put their lines up but could be wrong. I guess it doesn't matter.
