CC and Burnett....Burnett has been shaky just as much as Hamels has been, and CC has been just as good as Lee has been.

As far as who to bet in Game 2....Philies may be the play, but as far as best 1-2 combo, that's a whole nother thread

Hamels was much more erratic than usual this year though and Cook has looked great in his two starts back since coming back from shoulder injury. I an not playing this individual game, but I NEED it as I have Colorado series play.

why dont you just hedge LT and take phils series for -299. its over rockies are done

I also am considering playing the over 8.5 The Phillies will score 4+ runs. My only concern about the over is Hamels. He may have a superb day on the mound.

Why would anyone be optimistic about Hamels? He's been the epitome of mediocrity in 2009. Any way you slice it, he's been average; nothing more, nothing less. I won't be surprised if he goes eight innings and leaves with a nice lead; I won't be surprised if he gets knocked out in the third.

Lee and Hamels is solid come this time of year, however I would take CC and Burnett over those two in a heartbeat. Hamels has been very mediocre this year, but has had a very good September. This is also Hamel's time of year. Last year he ran them to the World Series. He is a big game pitcher.
