What is the best baseball game you have seen?
Following on from the thrad mentioned last nights playoff game as a classic, what IS the best baseball game you have ever seen? Be it in person, be it on the tele or even on some kind of classic games channel.

As said in the earlier thread its Game 7 of the 2001 series for me. The series itself was arguably one of the best ever, partly because of baseball, partly because of the cicrcumstances surrounding it (9/11), and partly because the Yankees have ZERO world series rings since then.

Game tied at 1 through 7 innings when Soriano homers off Schilling, Batista gets 1 out then RJ gets 4 outs on 1 days rest. Hearing Gracey tell Schilling he loves him and Bob Brenly telling him the Dbacks would get the run back when he made the change. "Mr automatic" blowing the heart of the Dbacks order around a Steve Finley single, then came the bottom of the 9th which had almost everything happen that nobody could predict, Tony Womack tying the game off the best closer in history, Scott Brosius holding onto the ball after a force at 3rd when he probably could have gunned it across and turned the DP.

Craig Counsell HBP a pitch to load the bases for Gonzo with Jay Bell on 3rd and, well, you know the rest....

The best game/world series of the modern generation without a shadow of a doubt

Ok you guys, lets hear your opinion, GO......

1972, Three Rivers Stadium, Cubs at Pirates. Roberto Clemente hit two home runs, the second one in the bottom of the ninth to give the Pirates a 4-3 win. I was there. Thanks for asking Stu, a nice memory on a rainy day here in the northeast. Box score below.

The box score of the game played on July 1, 1972 at the Three Rivers Stadium, between the Cubs (3) and the Pirates (4).

Also cannot forget the mad Dbacks/Giants slugfest in 2002 (I think) - Dbacks on 1-0 on a Durazo double in the 18th.

Nolan Ryan's 7th no-hitter. May 1, 1991. I was in the left field bleachers. I'm not a big baseball fan, but that was pretty special.

definitely this one 1993 for me

                            Carter's Series-Winning Home Run, Game 6, 1993
Joe Carter hit a home run to lift the Toronto Blue Jays over the Philadelphia Phillies and clinch the World Series title.

“Mine, it will make the top 10 but it’s never No. 1, it’s never been No. 2, it’s always been in the middle of the pack,” Carter said Thursday. “Had it been for the Yankees or the Dodgers, then I think it would have been No. 1. But because it was in Toronto, it has not gotten the respect that I think it really should deserve.”

I was at Pro Player Stadium in Miami for the final game of the NLDS when the Marlins beat the Giants.

Jeff Coninie made a perfect throw to home from LF to nail JT Snow at the plate to end the game.

About 68,000 people in the stands. Place went nuts.
