    Ive never understood...
How we all know that the house always wins in the long run and people continue to bet against the house. Im young and i bet for a few years and i was decent id hit my streaks here are there but i was smart enough to figure out the only way to win long term was to start booking. So this year me and my roommate are partners.

Why do you guys continue to bet when you can book?

The rush is just as good if not better and the money is amazing!

I know im young and dont know everything but this is just my opinion and i think its a good question for you older guys and more expierienced guys.

Sharps tend to bet WITH the book and avoid obvious square plays.

Also, you can beat the book by continually beating the closing number.

Just because the house always wins vs. the entire population does not mean that the entire population loses (translation: there are a small percentage of pros that win long term).

The house wins generally but not always. In poker the house wins because of the rake. But that doesn't mean you can't be the rake and make money. I have friends who play professionally so they must be doing something right. Now if you play let it ride, the house has a "guaranteed" edge and overall will win. That doesn't mean you can't get lucky and beat them for a few K. If you play smart BJ, count cards etc you can reduce your edge in blackjack and even get a % of two on them. Playing the field in dice you are laying juice and you can't avoid losing long term. Sports betting allows you to possibly win if you know what the spread should be and capitalize on mistakes. The books will force you to make mistakes just like last nights game..... they needed money on MT so the books jacked the line to 7 took all the MT money......

                      No,

I'd have to give the nod to the loansharks that charge you 5 points a week.

Umm.........possibly more DISLIKED, but I would not rate them as high on the criminal list.

Even though it's only a short period of time I've come out ahead every year for the last three years. I've been more successful in this than the stock market. Granted I can get more down in stocks, but I like sports better. I wish they'd make it legal in the states so liquidity of squares would rise.

yeah but your local average bettor isnt very good. always takes favorites and does barely any research or makes their own lines. its almost free money to tell you the truth.

Its Illegal and very easy to get caught.
And just like betting you can certainly end up losing if you are unlucky.

JJ had Jeffrey when he was 16. Jeffrey had Ari when he was 17. Ari is now 18.

JJ not a day past 51.This is all confirmed by the US Government.
