MVP handicapping sucks

I'm sure I'm the only one here dumb enough to send these chuckleheads money for picks but I'm learning fast. It's not the most expensive mistake I've ever made in my life (that was wife #1). What really bothers me is not that these guys can't pick (they pick as well as a quarter does) but the absolutely unprofessional way in which they've handled my situation.

I'm writing a blog about it. If you're interested, make an intelligent guess at the name of the website from the title of this post. Let me know what you think!

during my time gambling, I have paid for several picks from many different handicapper. Out of the 20 or so I have tried, I can honestly say maybe 3 or 4 had made me a profit and was worth the $$

I've chosen to gloss over some details about how I met him. I did not choose him at random, which is what makes the experience even more disappointing. The person who introduced him to me has since apologized to me.

Good question. My entire beef is that I couldn't get them from the guy in time to play them. He'd promise picks Saturday morning, they'd come at 11:50 EDT for noon games. Week 4 NFL, nothing showed up at all. Ever.

So when I complained, he invoked the fine print weasel words on his home page which say he can cancel anyone at anytime for any reason and forfeit the money. I got cancelled/forfeited because I bitched about something really unreasonable like getting the picks before gametime. Taking money for a service and not providing the service sure feels like fraud to me. It would not be fraud if he said "You're a pain in the arse, here, take your money back and go away." But that's not what he did. He took money, then said "sorry, no more service."

I would have liked nothing better than to start a thread that looks like the fade-brandon-lang thread.
