No ties in the NHL anymore...OT, then shootout...so the answer is zero FTW

yellow man lets say the score is 2-2 after OT

            Somebody wins with the shootout

I have under 5........ did I win, lose or push?

You push, right after everyone leaves.

Ties are still used for wagering purposes - many books offer lines on the first 60 minutes. Not sure if there's reg. time totals out there though.

Winner of shootout is credited with a goal, so it would be 3-2 for grading purposed.

You can bet regulation only as well as OT included. I would be careful to check what you are betting and make sure you know the rules of the book you are betting with.

                Hope that helps.

Whoever wins the shootout gets a "goal" added to final score. So 2-2 then shootout becomes 3-2 final officially

Even if ties were possible, a league-wide percentage of past ties is essentially useless for prediction in individual games.
