Pay up all bills for the month while saving two full pay checks.
after you get the 2nd check find one or two games and play all of it.
(buy some peanut butter and bread for in case you lose)
if it hits, you've doubled-- take half off the table; repeat.

$6 an hour MAX. and then figure out how many hours you see college kids work. 10-15 at most.
so between $60-$90 a week

$8.00 X 40 = 320.00 - 20% = 256.00 X 4.33 = 1108.00 Month Net

What's your rent? How much is the minimum bet at your book? You can start with $80 if you are good. But, just get your rent paid, and like $200 cash, and you can easily live off the residuals from that two hundred, if you bet a lot and your good. but you might want to work part time for rent, so you don't end up in the park.
You should always have some type of work. Part-time something. Everybody goes on bad runs.

I live rent free. About 500$ in bills per month. Don't need much money, fairly frugal person.

If you have $1000, you can make $100/a/day off it by betting $500 of it every day, if you are 62% or over, cuz even if you lose a bit one day, you aren't going to hit zero. So, 5 times what you want to make a day times two. Minimum wage at Taco Bell, you get $40 day, so $400, and you might as well quit and gamble, or you could at least.
30k at least with an average of 250 to 500 per game IMO

I have had plus 5k and minus 8k months and I lay usually 1500 out on the board daily over 8-10 plays. 30k in my opinion would keep you from going bankrupt at my betting levels. Keep in mind, you'll have to be withdrawing for expenses whether you win or lose.

What do you bet 'Pat Venditto'?? Do you win on most days?? Or do you usually lose a little bit, and then occasionally hit a 6-teamer once every few months?
These guys that show up with some intellegent question out of the blue kind of yell mod in a mask, but its wierd how guys who never post have 9000 posts.
Focker nobody in players talk actually thinks or expresses rational thoughts. Don't listen to any of these clowns.
Actually he posts alot. Here he's making fun of people in players talk, whom he's asking advice from. These question askers usually already know the exact answer. But ask anyway for entertainment.
Even if you have a 10k bankroll and your unit size is 100 a game. You need that job. It is purely supplemental for both survival and bankroll insurance.
Even if you only bring home $100 a week it can be the difference between a steak dinner one night and ramen. There is plenty of time in a day for cappin', schoolin', and workin'.

Where do you work at pal? I would keep working if I was you. You'll get bored just going to class and sitting on your ass all day. I go to school full time, work 4-5 days a week, and I'm still bored as fukk. It's always nice to have a little bit of extra cash in your pocket as well. Just my opinion though

Quitting your job = the suck
Maybe 1% of all sports bettors run good enough to not have a real job.
(not counting Lucky Sperm Club members)

6 months living expenses plus a little extra for those times when things go back ( car breaks down, new tires, get sick.. w/e) to not be mixed with gambling money. (thats for poker anyway, not sure if sports are the same)
Then after that, proper bankroll etc etc
