I think they are in trouble next week.
They were lucky to win this week.

Tough slate ahead for the Hawks.........
MICHIGAN
@ WISKY
@ MICHIGAN STATE
I hate to say it, but if one could give me 2-1 right now in these three games, I would probably have to take it, even though it would eliminate the Hawks from a shot at playing in the title game.
I think on paper(odds) that they are an underdog to win at least two of these games.......slightly.
My best guess is they win this week and split their two game road trip.
ONE BIG concern for the Hawks is that they need Prater back at CB this week or Michigan will be able to exploit the young Lowe who is replacing him..............I would pay close attention to his status for this game for betting purposes.

Iowa has now won NINE staight games, second longest streak in the nation behind Florida.
Iowa has now not allowed a rushing TD in an amazing 33 consecutive quarters of football.

Duece, if Pratter is a no go at cornerback for the Hawks, Iowa will be down to their third guy on the depth chart at that position(Bernsteen was lost at start of season).
Lowe, Pratters replacement againsT ARK. ST. looked terrible and he will be exploited by Michigan.................the question then arises if the Iowa offense can put up at least 24 points against BIG BLUE..........which is only 50-50 in my opinion.
If Pratter is a NO GO, this game is practically a toss-up......with only the SLIGHTEST OF EDGES TO THE HAWKS.

Did you see what the MSU D as well as O lines did to Mich?

College football is wacky.
Imagine how Iowa fans would be looking at their season had Northern Iowa's kicker been able to get 1 of 2 kicks off at the end of that game?
