Anyone hear Mussberger on an anti gun rant praising Canes coach?
I always knew Mussberger was a lefty ever since he threw Jimmy the Greek under the bus when CBS fired him for praising black players athletic skills. Now on last night's Miami-Oklahoma game Mussberger went into a spiel about how Canes coach Shannon overcame coming from a ghetto where his dad was murdered and brother died of an overdose.Mussberger said that Randy Shannon has a policy where if a player so much as gets caught possessing a gun,he's off the team.Hmmmm, sounds like a knee jerk reaction liberal anti constitutionalist stand to me.What if the player wants to become a gunsmith and just loves working on guns and using them for what they were intended for without breaking any laws?Afterall, you are an adult at 18 and if you have no prior arrests it's legal to own guns. What if it's just a kids hobbie to go out to a gun range or some vacant gravel pit shooting targets and old beer cans.

You can really get a feel for how rabidly liberal people like Mussberger,Shannon and Obama are about gun control when they go into these spiels like Mussberger did last night. They never mention the variables of gun ownership where 96% of the people buying and using them are doing it in legal and proper fashion. It's that painting with a broad brush guilt trip they use to make all gun owners sound like a bunch of redneck cracker loose cannons. If they want to treat the people that vote democrat like them children, why not just target your own for irresponsible gun behavior.

Another thing, like for all coaches, isn't there an armed state highway patrol that runs along with Shannon back and forth on to the field during games?Mussberger has an armed body guard too I'll bet.I hope they are armed with sling shots and not guns.

Seriously? You think it is a good idea for University of Miami football players to be carrying guns?

I am all for gun rights. But with Miami's history, this makes total sense.

Josh, I'm sure there are a few players who just really want to be gunsmiths when their playing days are over. Who are Shannon and Musburger to get in the way of a boy and his dream?

        I thought Mussberger was right

And Shannon..100% right..these kids are in an environment filled with immature people..there are moments when tempers flare..they do not need to own guns

the only thing the announcers missed last night was that Oklahoma was playing dirty, cheap shot football all night

least those sobs got what they deserved
