He was better off in the AL where you could use him as a DH. I really don't see where he would fit in the field at this point. I don't watch the Dodgers everyday, but has Thome delivered a clutch pinch hit yet since joining the Dodgers? If so, I missed it.
He has only had like 2 or 3 hits total for the Dodgers and I don't remember any of them being clutch.

Agreed. I believe Manny would be a better Dh as well
