Why not? I thought Rio was always one of the favorites. I think the IOC wants to put the Games in South America for the first time ever.

I am an idiot for betting this but I heard the Will Hill rep's interview and he said Chi and Rio were neck and neck so I took the + action with Rio and gambled... going to be pissed if Madrid lands it

Like I said, I listened to the Will Hill linesmaker talk about the odds and said how US and Rio were very close so I took the 2 supposed front runners... I thought I was fukked when the US was the first one thrown out because my immediate reaction was he said that shit to try and get action on the 2 because they were considered the favorites...

I got it last night at +145 which I think is a bad line because some people said it was +350 at some books last week. But I think the news leak of Rio and US being really close drove the odds down...
