Thanks to the laptops plugged into giant TV screens, I never got to have a jjgold-free weekend.

Things that I learnt

SBR_John in real life looks 10+ years younger than his pictures - although I suspect he had a quick face-lift on Thursday afternoon. It will have disappeared by Monday afternoon.

Everyone I met was exceedingly normal. I was very surprised. Shocked, even.

AAO is a very polite and friendly young man. He missed the Friday night function - I suspect he was reading stories to sick kids in hospital.

pags is a darn good football capper, but he is so hung up on his previous records ( even though we all know that non-existent lines have been used and wagers placed at times when there was no way a line was valid) yet, he stands by it with a hard on. reminds me an awful lot of journeystiff and the way he loves to talk about how he is a big winner in baseball and nfl and talks way too much of how he won a couple free nfl contests a year or so ago...BUUUUTTT, stiffed a co-worker and friend for over 6k in gambling debts. big difference in posting plays and actually gambling
