Lock n load - Stevek173's week 4 picks featuring hot babe of the week
Well ladies and gentlemen, when I first came in here I told you all about my private picks through week 1 and 2 going 9-1 in the NFL. Obviously since I wasn't posting here at that time, I got flamed some, and deservedly so.
Since then, in roughly a week of being active here, I have Beat the Prick in my 1st attempt (OK, he finished under .500 so easy feat) by going 3-1, placed 6th in the Week 3 pick 8 contest, and have gone 2-0 in my public picks. My pizza on game day will be courtesy of SBR points. Those are the facts. Do I deserve credibility yet? Probably not compared to the a lot of the sharpies around here. But check out my picks and maybe you can ride them to some easy money.

Oklahoma (-8.0) at Miami - I'll be honest - I liked it a lot better at 7. Something about giving up that extra point on the road is just not so sexy. I got it in at 7 and feel great about that. I still think it's quite sexy at 8, maybe going from an Angelina Jolie at 7 to an Elisha Cuthbert at 8 if you will. I know I know, tough loss for Miami last week, in Tech, and this is a night game at home for them. I am a Miami fan - I want them to take this. I don't see it being competitive though. This popular sportsbook has them at a 22 point estimated disadvantage.

What has Miami done so far? Beaten a suspect Florida State team and where as they spanked a surprisingly bad Georgia Tech team they got whooped by a Virginia Tech team that I don't feel is that great. Miami is a great story, and their turnaround is a lot of fun, but let's face it - they can't hang with the big boys...yet. This opened at 7, it's at 8 now. It's only going to get worse people.
Bradford or no Bradford, you've gotta bomb this game.

New Orleans (-7) vs the Jets. Every once in awhile a team comes along that is so red hot that you have to ride them until they let you down. This is that kind of team. Their offensive pralice is so potent it is basically unstoppable to all but the very best defenses in the league. Many were probably discouraged by the passing game sputtering some in Buffalo last week. I, for one, was not. If anything they showed more diversity than before in stifling the Bills anemic offense and shredding them with their ground attack. Yes, I am aware that the Jets currently have one of the best defenses in the league and are undefeated as well. It doesn't matter verse Brees and Co. in the dome. They lose by 10 or more. Book it.

Cleveland (+5.5) vs Cincinatti. Let me ask you this. Should the Bengals be favored against anyone by 5.5 on the road? I simply don't see it. Nice win for them over a Palamaluless Steelers squad last week. Amazing win in Green Bay the week before. You could make an argument they actually should be undefeated. They would be if it weren't for the leagues craziest play to date this year vs. the Broncos. Cleveland has looked bad, yes. I just don't see Cincy as that kind of a favorite on the road in a heated division contest. I'm on the Browns here.

San Diego (+6.5) at Pittsburgh. I live in Steeler country. I am not a Steelers fan, though I am partial to them because everyone around me loves them and a good portion of my get togethers end up being Steelers parties. Simple fact here. Troy Palamalu is one of the 5 most valuable players in the game. In no way is Pittsburgh anything close to what they were with him. As rediculous as it would have seemed going into week one to say the Steelers would be 1-3 after week 4, I see it happening here. San Diego, where as they haven't looked like everyone's superbowl darling yet, is getting it together. I say they win straight up, so 6.5 is a nice gift here in my opinion.

That's all I've got for you this week. As promised here is your hot babe of the week. Enjoy, play these picks and thank me later.
