    Parlays vs. If bets
Why does the parlay pay better than an If bet on ML dogs? Also, is there ever a +EV with a ML dogs parlay ticket? Best appreciated if someone can provide the math behind this phenomena.

    Thanks.

P.S. I asked these questions in a post on the "Think Tank", and have yet to receive a response.

I don't think you know what you are talking about. Show me an example where a parlay of +125 and +160 pays more than $125 if-win-then +160 assuming you roll over entire amount on +160.

If bets, if u win ur 1st, u are guaranteed a push if ur 2nd bet is same amount where parlay u win 1st, lose 2nd, u lose whole amount instead of push. Hopefully this makes sense

Only place to bet if wins is Carib. No limit on amount or #. Can basically create your own custom made progessive parlay. Called Doctor Phil.

"Cwissy, you need to have my express written permission to use my name or likeness in your losing parlays, and you don't got it. And since you never win, I'm not interested in commissions."

Parlays are the most sound way to strike it instantly rich !

I like to use them as backup wagers also .
Just in case you are loaded on 3/4 plays and have second thoughts on them ,swing a well thought out parlay consisting of reverse plays .

It may sound crazy but if you ever go 0/4 on major picks[and I have] ,then you can welcome in that sweet parlay of opposites !
I would recommend playing at least a 6 teamer,or 8 teamer on a large card of games .

The payoffs are super and you haven't lost your home !

                For the confused:

Using greek lines and wager descriptions:

                Parlay:
                Colorado +500, UAB +310
                Risk 10 to win 236

                If Bet
                Colorado +550 risk 10 to win 50
Use the 50 won on Colorado plus the original 10=60 on UAB +310 it pays 236 which is equivalent to the parlay.
