They have recently gone to the red zone on an alternative sports book review site for slow paying.

The maximum stake for any bet is just £50. Very slow to move their lines though, as you can probably guess.

They have now palped me twice in two weeks, claiming 'fixture error'
- the dates/times displayed were correct
- the home/away designations and spellings were accurate
- they maintained their lines and did not pull them until KO in either case
- one wager was placed/confirmed ~18hrs before the match, the other ~8hrs before
- first one was palped after the event ended and the outsider won
- today's was palped late in the second half with the outsider in the lead and with a man advantage
- in both instances I had wagers with more respectable books at same/better odds which were settled as expected so while the odds were high it was not 'taking a shot'
Today was outright suspicious as they did not cancel the wager when the longshot scored/took the lead, they waited a bit and cancelled after the other side got a red card (which thus made a draw/recovery unlikely to 'save them' from a payout)
In light of the above, I would seriously advise anyone to reconsider depositing/wagering with them in any amount whatsoever.
I shall be doing my impersonation of Don Quixote and file a complaint with IBAS but won't expect anything to come of it.

Winamax
I have today (18/07/2007) received a cancelation of my bet with this company.
I am very annoyed as the time of email received was 18.25 the football match in question started at 15.00
Bet was placed on 17/07/2007 at 14.44. Plenty of time for them to realise their error.
There was no explanation except "Fixture error".
To be fair to them I have sent them a reply asking for an explanation.
AS FOLLOWS:
I have had heard of bookmakers cancelling bets through a printing error etc.
I have heard of bookmakers cancelling bets because THEY made a mistake with odds.
This is the first time I have heard of bookmakers cancelling bets after the event started.
Seams very strange that this bet was cancelled after event started.
I dare say that somewhere in the RULES you have a part that says you can cancell bets after the event but this is a definate first for me.
I received mail that was sent at 18.25 which was after the start of event.
This didn't even give me time to place bet with you or elswhere.
Like I say I am sure you have some rule that says you can do this and I would be grateful if you could point it out to me.
END
Also they do limit me to a £50 max bet but as they replied to the mail when I questioned this I suppose this isn't ground for complaint.
But I would like to know how a company accepts deposits of over £100 then limits you to £50.
Anyway I will keep you posted if I get a reply.
I have also notified them about being in the Red Zone.

Winamax
I have so far sent 4 Emails to Winamax. When I joined I did ask a couple of questions (Before I deposited cash) and they always replied.
They even replied the same day when I asked about the £50 bet limit.
Maybe they don't want to reply!
Will keep you posted

No surprise to their lack of response I must say ...
After reviewing the specifics with IBAS I've been requested to file a formal complaint ...
