Largest SANDWICH game in 20+ years for IOWA

Most of Iowa's sandwich games the past few years have been grilled cheese and peanut butter.............this is close, if not, a medium-rare ribeye steak sandwich with grilled onions.

Do we take ARKANSAS STATE +21 here boys?

I know very little about the ARK STATE team.........they were pegged as being a decent team preseason but they have been a disappointment.........getting thrashed by Nebraska and losing to Troy.

The one thing I do know is that if Iowa should happen to get up by at least 24 points midway through the 3rd qtr, Ferentz is the type of coach that will get guys that are 2nd, 3rd, and 4th on the depth charts as much playing time as possible................unlike some coaches who have teams in the top 10 or 25.

Would definitely agree, Fish. Who can get psyched up to play Arkansas State? Is this the North Texas Bowl happening already?

As an Iowa fan, will somewhat be bummed if they don't get up by 20 in the 1st half so they can get some starters off the field early in the 2nd half............but then again, will be happy with just a win.

Anticipating a semi-struggle here..........but I can't see Arkansas State scoring more than 17 points.

By the way, Iowa has not allowed a rushing TD in their last 29 quarters(WTF?).

They will move up slightly in a few polls if they win at Michigan State this week...........

Currently they are 20th in both the HARRIS and COACHES POLL........if they win this week, they will probably be ranked 16th-19th in both of these major polls.
