      No...

It's about principal. The +EV side should never lose.

For every time that happens, there was a time you were on the wrong side and it won. Such is gambling.

it makes me want to destroy humanity whenever i hear that garbage. i know they are just sitting there trying to convince themselves it was the right side, hoping to justify the 5 or 6 hours it took them researching stats and trends, or the 'inside info' they believe they have.

I had Carolina +9 as well and there are way worse beats than that. The way the Cowboys were moving down the field and the Carolina offense was going nowhere the Cowboys had a very good chance to get the ball back and score anyway, the fact that it happened fast was actually not that bad since Carolina had plenty of time to score. They ran a very weak 2 minutes offense with 5 minutes left down 2 scores. If someone is really complaining that much about this game I'd hate to see em take a real bad beat.

The point is that people felt comfortable with that wager. They liked the position. The outcome was not what they expected. It was the wrong side. I took Carolina Panthers tonight and liked the play. I was on the losing side. Life goes on!

Yup and being Up 16 ATS at Half just made the 2nd half that much worse.

Umm. Actually, the very definition of expected value says otherwise.

Um... To the best of my knowledge and abilities, I have never intentionally made a -EV wager. Thus, I should never lose.

Kidding about "The +EV side should never lose." obviously.

the cowboys should have scored 28 points. if you think about the missed FG and the felix jones TD that got overturned. so its not like he just barely missed the cover

The sad thing was, Carolina needed to do one thing right out of like nine (have a scoring drive or stop Dallas) chances in the second half to cover. Yeh, it was a bad beat.

well.. you might "hate" it, but the simple fact is that the person conveying the information to you are simply stating they did the research and had the best possible pick in mind..

now to hate that, is to hate women who tell you they will be ready to go in 5 minutes..

if you believe a win is ALWAYS the right side, then more power to you..

                              good luck!
