#2I still don't know what really to make of all this.
I think we can assume that gambling is safe in Canada. Can't we?
The Conservatives are in power, but can they really go the US route on online gambling with a minority government. Even if the province might be on its way to becoming UAE of North America (thanks to all its oil revenue), does Alberta really have that much power?Comment -

#3They are afraid if they deal with Canadian banks, the money will go through the U.S. and get seized.
It is not that it is illegal in Canada, they don't want to deal with the U.S. DOJ.Comment -

#4You may well be completely right in your appraisal of the situation ... but what I have to question is if transactions were limited to Canadian dollars, why would the money go through the US at all?Comment -

#5I'm sticking with Moneybookers. They are not located in Canada, as Neteller (Calgary), My Citadel (Vancouver), ******* (Montreal), & Instadebit (Toronto) have offices in major Canadian cities.
I wonder if Instadebit will be next.
My only complaint about Moneybookers is that they do wire transfers which cost $20 CAD (charged by my bank when they receive the wire and deposit to my account), whereas *******, Neteller, Instadebit Citadel etc have EFT's which cost me zero and are a little faster.Comment
