Retroactive changes are unethical and unfair.

Freezing ALL funds until a rollover is met for new funds is also unethical and unfair.
Funds which are NOT subject to rollover should be eligible for withdrawal at any time.
The only funds which cannot be withdrawn should be those subject to the rollover.

What is SBR's position on both of these matters?

Note: Matchbook regards the most recent deposit as the first set of funds that will be withdrawn. So you need to clear the whole roll -- however it is defined -- before withdrawals.
      Chuck Sims - "Case closed".

      Your case is closed.

What about people who were told 1x or 2x rollover, and who have not fulfilled the rollover from April to August 17th, and are now told they have to fulfill 4x rollover?

Or are told they cannot withdraw any funds, even funds not subject to rollover?

      Those cases are not closed.

I was unaware people were in the same boat as I was. We now know when Matchbook changed to 4x. Everyone should be under the 2x rollover for WSEX transfers prior to August 17th.

I do not like the last in first out policy on withdraw requests.

Just keep winning and you won't have a problem.

There should have been prominent ADVANCE notification on the website of a significant change in rollover terms BEFORE August 17th.
Changing the rollover terms without letting any customers know of the change in terms is unethical and unfair.
            Making it retroactive is inexcusable.

CRIS is about to open an exchange to compete with Matchbook.

Rather than responding by giving excellent customer service to help them with customer loyalty, Matchbook doubles the rollover terms on WSEX transfers without letting anyone know, and makes it retroactive.
What if your credit card company doubled the interest rate without mailing out advance notifications? And made it retroactive?

Also, their policy of not allowing ANY funds to be withdrawn because there is a rollover on new funds transferred is unique and unacceptable.

There is no notification of this policy posted on their website.

It's also contrary to their own interests - it's telling customers that if you want to transfer funds into our book, it is to your interest to WITHDRAW any funds you already have in the book, because we will not allow you to withdraw anything once the new funds are transferred in until you fulfill our rollover requirement, which we will change without notification and will make retroactive.
A sportsbook or exchange encouraging customers to withdraw funds does not have a sensible business model.

All of the above is horrible customer service.

I did a book to book transfer from 5Dimes to matchbook. It was a pretty small amount. Does that mean i have to wager the smaller of the amount 4 times? It was only for 650 dollars but now i only have 550 now. I wagered 100 so does that mean i need to wager 2400 more to withdraw?

I can understand the rollover if people were using them primarily for getting money out. They transactions do cost them money after all. 4x does seem a little extreme. 2x would be a little more fair.
