    Education needed regarding lines
    5dimes advertises the following:

We have officially expanded our reduced juice offerings to all NBA and NCAA basketball games. These offerings will be available through the NBA finals. All games will be available with 10-cent sides, 10-cent moneylines, and 10-cent totals.

I thought 10 cent sides means:
    Team A: +1½ -105
    Team B: -1½ -105

But the lines for NCAA games on 5dimes are:
    Team A: +1½ -110
    Team B: -1½ -110

Is -105/-105 actually a called a nickel line? I guess I've always misunderstood the terminology. Any clarification would be greatly appreciated.

You are correct, a 10 cent line is -105.

I don't play at five dimes, so I'm not sure how the -105 is going. But, I believe it has a $500 limit.

Go to where it says reduced under the Basketball heading. It is there where you will find the dime line with a $500 limit. You can bet it again for $500 if the line changes. Hope that helps you out.

Right, MAB, on 5Dimes, click on "reduced" under basketball and you will see all the NBA and NCAA full game spreads, money lines, and totals, and all with -105 juice.

5 dimes tends not to release their dime lines until later in the day (although in baseball, they do release their nickel lines overnight).

              MAB,

5 Dimes puts up their reduced lines at approximately 12 Noon ET. They were up a little earlier for the early-tip games only today.
