          There was always only one direction really worth heading.
          zubzub, you're right to say I should visit/live there. And I did live there for 7 years. I have many good memories and one big bad one - Katrina and its aftermath.
          Bourbon St is no longer a hub for good jazz. There is still some but it doesn't dominate like once did.

              You can add my in-laws to the list outside of his family. Couldn't believe it Saturday afternoon over at their place and one of the bro-in-laws and I started going through some of their records. No kidding, Jack Teagarden's Father of the Jazz Trombone album is in there
