Anybody been to Gramercy Tavern?

I'm heading up to NYC next week to see my sister and her boyfriend. I'm going to take them out to a really nice dinner, and I've always wanted to go to Gramercy. Anybody have insights on the place? Good choice?

Looks like they do an $86 prix fixe, 4 course menu. This is gonna hurt a little bit.

Haven't made it to Gramercy Tavern yet in my trips to NYC. But I do highly recommend Connolly's Pub for great food and entertainment. Been to a couple of them and my favorite is on 45th Street if your in that area.
