What he has going for him that he didnt last year though is a warm weather schedule at the end of the season. I think the Vikings only have one cold weather game in November and December and that was a huge issue for Favre last year, as well as the year before when the Packers blew the NFC championship at home to the Giants.

It should be interesting to watch.

Favre has an actual UNIT around him on the offense and defense, which he didnt have last year with the Jets.

He has Peterson to take away most of the focus off of him, and he has an offensive playbook HE KNOWS, unlike the playbook of the Jets, which was something he wasnt familiar with.

The Vikings have the core and juist needed the finishing touch that Tavaris Jackson couldnt give them. TV couldnt have won the game today, but Favre did, he stepped up, and did what they paid him to do. They knew they had to make a move and get a better QB in Minnesota, their window to make a run for the Super Bowl is closing. Favre was a great pick up, and he shouldnt falter with the schedule and playbook he has this year.
