Why are all sports announcers so positive?

If your broadcasting for the Red, Jays, Pirates and say something like XXXX xXXX is really sucking ass they won't like you much. They might say XXXX has been struggling but has been working with the batting coach and is looking much better lately...... yet he still chases the high ball out of the strike zone and goes down in 3.

I guess try and keep viewers and also most announcers are afraid of the players and do not want any trouble down the road.
