It's much easier to buy the umpires behind the plate than paying all these players ridiculous amount of money. But the Yankee sheep fans will pay for tickets. They have priced the boxed seats for like $10,000 and after noone bought they reduced the price to $5,000 and still can sell them to fans.

I love Bosox ( or LAA) to beat them in ALCS, if NYY even get past Det/Minn.

let me remind you last year the phillies won the world series with 1 pitcher and the yanks have the 2nd best bullpen in baseball and it might turn into the best if you throw joba in there. 7th hughes 8th joba 9th rivera god that sounds sexy

In the playoffs you only need 3 starters with the days off in a 7 game series.....In a seven game series if it goes all 7 your Number 1 starter can pitch 3 times. Have 3 solid starters would make them favorites rather than underdogs in this format.....

Give it up, guys. The Yankees did NOT buy a division. If one team could buy a division or a World Series, then why haven't the Yankees won the division in two years and why have they not won a World Series since 2000? The Yankees spend a lot of money, but because of the market they're in, they can afford to spend money because Yankee fans are willing to spend a lot of money to see a good team. The Yankee payroll actually went down this season after last season, so people need to stop talking about how much money they spent on AJ, CC, and Tex. They spent the money because they had all of that money coming off the books. The Yankees are fielding a good team with good pitching (as we've seen this weekend), and you guys are all just a little envious. Sorry.
