Yes the guy is a coaching legend who literally built Penn St. to where they are today! He doesn't command a high salary and donates alot back to the school! That being said the guy won't go away!!! Martin Blank's right, this guy years before joining the Big Ten had Penn St. playing a schedule that resembled playing 1-AA teams! They played nobody! couple points

(1) Penn State does not have a home/home with Pitt because Pitt refused not being able to bundle PSU tickets with 2 other shittier games. PSU, said screw you, we'll play Syracuse then.

(2) Penn State's out of conference looks bad the last two years mainly because Alabama delayed their 1-1 till 2010. Their schedule will be fine from next year on.

(3) Joe Pa has had an undefeated season in every decade he has coached (needs one this year to keep that streak alive)

(4) Ranks in the top 5 in the nation for wins the last 4 years

The old man probably isn't doing anything considering he doesn't have a head set, and it is probably the Hall/Bradley show, but outside of the Zack Mills era, they have been consistent winners. 5th all time in producing NFL players. They got 29 players on active rosters right now. They are doing okay.
