"The Grand" appreciation thread

Are there any fans of the movie "The Grand" here? I love the movie, it's one of my favorite gambling movies. Of course, I grew up in an environment that's very much like the one in the movie because my father is a pro poker player. The movie is incredibly accurate concerning the psychological make-up of the players, my dad's like a composite of several of the poker players in the movie.

With out question the best gambling movie ever. I guess you would have to be exposed to the poker/gambling/vegas sub culture to fully appreciate this movie.

I own the DVD and I feel like watching it right now. It never gets old, it's a brilliant movie.
