You guys better take note of CARIB.
Just got stiffed by them.
I had a balance of $6712.68, and I went to make a Neteller withdrawal yesterday of $5000. It's stated on the Cash-Out Request Form that the fee is $10 for a withdrawal less than $2500, and a fee of $20 for withdrawal of $2500-$5000.
Well, they paid me almost immediately. Wow, i thought it's good and I didn't notice that my balance was wrong. Today, I checkd and realised that they charged me a fee of $40.
And thus I asked how come I am being charged $40 instead of $20, and they simply send me a message (I got to admit, they reply messages very fast) asking me to call them. I refuse and demand that they explain the extra charges to them. Again, they ask me to call and discuss. I told them to call me instead (why should I be incurring IDD charges?)
Just got off the phone 5 mins ago, and guess what? They told me exactly the same thing!!! This is a new charge of $40, and it's $40 for all amount! And they even have the gall to tell me that this new fees is in place for weeks and that they know they haven't update their website.
Now, am I the only one who thinks that they are conman? I understand that they have every rights to revise their fees, but they should have the integrity to notify their customers or rectify their mistakes?
It's an obvious case of them showing one fee but charging you more, and whoever spoke to me insist that this has to be it. So why do they even bother to call me? I still have money with them, they may as well tell me the next withdrawal gonna cost me $100.
Bill - Can you help me? They refuse to talk sense
