Mikey was NOT a Boxer, he was a street fighter. Ali in his prime would have beaten Tyson easily.

Yes Sam, Tyson was a street fighter not a boxer. I just don't see any fighter being able to take the relentless blows that Mike was handing out when he was in his late teens early twenties.

agree 100%
his true awesomeness pinnacle may have been very brief but during that time I would take no one against him, not ali, not frazier, foreman, no other heavyweight

You're a fucking idiot. Tyson's not even one of the five best heavyweights.

Z, did you see Ali fight?
That may explain why you THINK Tyson would beat Ali.

The man hardly ever went 12 rounds, hell the man hardly went 5! How can you not think that ???
All those fighters were going 8,10,12 with there competitors while Tyson was just knocking people out in 10 to 15 seconds.

Tyson hands down. With both of them in their prime, Tyson would knock Ali out by the 3rd round. Ali would have tried to wait until Tyson got tired and then Tyson would have knocked Ali the F out.

Here's the thing about Tyson. The beginning of his career he had no other great Heavyweight to contend with. Michael Spinks? Come on, he was a decent LH at best.
F'in Tyson LOST to Buster Douglas. Buster Douglas.
You give me a name of someone who beat Ali that was as much of a stiff as Buster was?

It's hard to compare the old school guys to the younger/newer fighters. If you talk about eras, I think Tyson was pound for pound the best during his prime.
To me, Lennox Lewis was one of the greats, if you throw out the Rahman fight in Africa

I think Lewis was a great smart fighter. It was too bad he never really fought anymore great.
Ali is number 1.
Ali would beat tyson probably 2 out of 3 times consistently (tyson pre-jail of course).
I think I would rather watch Tyson fight Frazier, both in their primes.
