Yes Sam, Tyson was a street fighter not a boxer. I just don't see any fighter being able to take the relentless blows that Mike was handing out when he was in his late teens early twenties.

It's hard to compare the old school guys to the younger/newer fighters. If you talk about eras, I think Tyson was pound for pound the best during his prime.

To me, Lennox Lewis was one of the greats, if you throw out the Rahman fight in Africa

Ali would beat tyson probably 2 out of 3 times consistently (tyson pre-jail of course).
I think I would rather watch Tyson fight Frazier, both in their primes.
