I accidentally selected a punt instead of a fg in Madden one time with no time outs down by 3. I had to audible and didn't have the right personnel on the field...so I tried throwing a fade to a guard who was out as a flanker and it was picked off the other way. That was a pretty bad play call

But that's what is so weird. Usually you can tell in the announcers voice if they've got some money on it because they sound upset or disappointed with what has transpired. This didn't sound like a guy that was losing money, it sounded like a guy that couldn't care less.

There may have been 300 people watching that game. 300 people in Phoenix who thought their team was a pretender after their opening week loss to the 9ers. The game was blacked out in JAX and a 10am start in AZ. The announcing crew seems to have been half asleep.
