#7Dawg, post your plays here and we will take the opposite side. If we get rich, we'll throw you some points. You and I both know you can't quit as you would have done so a long time ago, if you could, when you saw this cuming. You are a degenerate compulsive piece of shit, like the rest of us. You are just really lousy at picking winners so let's work with what we can. Post your plays here. This way, we all win. Feel better? GOOD!Comment -

#16wow what a surprise g's pks is the first one to reply in this thread .
I think he gets a boner everytime he sees a thread containing words like broke , barrelled in or "i'm in a hole" .
firedawg you should really take the 400 you got left out and pay some bills .
Betting with scared money will probably make things worse.
I wish you nothing but the best.Comment -

#17Dawg, you gotta grow up man. If you are living paycheck to paycheck then you don't have the discretionary income to gamble. Gambling is entertainment. There is a very small percentage of people that can do it for consistent profit, but they don't do it by trying to pick winners like you and I. They do it by having accounts at every book in the world and making +EV wagers based on lines.
You need to start looking at your gambling money as discretionary income for entertainment purposes. Would you go out of town and spend $500 on a weekend vacation if all your bills were past due and your water was turned off? Can you afford a vacation right now? Then you can't afford to be gambling either.
Quit thinking about sports gambling as something you can make money doing. A very few people can. You can't. I can't. Once you accept that fact, hopefully you will learn to make wiser decisions in the future when you actually have some extra money to play with. You don't have the extra money right now though. Get that through your head.Comment -

No I am like you borrowing money...broke and borrowing more money...then asking if I should keep gambling...(not serious)
Jello gave you the perfect advice... Only gamble with money you can afford to lose... The second you borrow money to gamble, gamble before paying a bill, or before paying off someone you owe....you are in trouble...
The anger and frustration are obvious...its ok...good luck working, and paying off all your bills.Comment -

#28Originally posted by firedawgthanks jello, like i said untill people attacked me. ive been doing this for years and never has this happened before.. im not an idiot. i have a savings account which i am going to take money out today and pay the stuff off with.
I'm up about $200 since depositing and will play with my initial deposit through the football season. If I lose it all next week, I'm done. I can say that and mean it because I just did it with baseball. I wasn't sure 6 months ago if I could seriously quit, but after going without it for 4 months and still posting on this board and never once getting the uncontrollable urge to have action, I feel good about the future with this. I learned that I don't really need it. I bet you could do the same thing if you had to.Comment -

#30Originally posted by jellobiafraWell that's good to hear. I was under the illusion that I could steadily make money doing this up until about 4 or 5 months ago, when I went busted again. At the time, I simply could not responsibly fund my account with the bills I had due. So I was went without gambling. I actually could have refunded my account a few weeks later, but I chose not to. I made it until the 1st week of football season and finally broke down and put some money in the account. But by that time I had saved several thousand dollars and could afford to spend some of it on gambling/entertainment.

#32You have 400 left in one account bet 20 a game max that is it. Try to learn to enjoy gambling as entertainment...when you just want to bet...bet $10. Decide a play a day or less... If you lose, do not add later bets...
Figure out that you have made poor decisions and I am thinking chased bad money with bad money... Slow down... if you lose a bet skip a day and just pick one game. See how it goes....the problem with picking every game is in your mind you think I would of bet that game...but probably not...when the money is on the line you jump around and indecision probably costs you...Comment -
