SSLP, where have you been bro? Don't fuel up the plane yet. I was in Montreal last week. Probably walking distance from where Nicky lives and he flaked on me. He buttered me up for months with stories of strippers, smokemeat, and hockey. And then I show up an the guy is nowhere to be found. I've met you and know your are genuine. I don't want your heart to get broken like mine was.

blitter, knowing you, you'll probably be here again next week, and the week after, and 3 weeks after that.. i swear i have never seen a guy who travels more than you ever.. in the last 6 months..... cairo egypt, vegas, montreal, costa rica, plus about 9 more i am missing probably.. you must have more money than god.. not even donald trump travels as much as you.. what am i saying, not even a flight attendant travels more than you..
btw, you never told me.. was montreal what you expected and was it one of the greatest cities in the world like i told you, or were you disappointed? what did you think of our hockey fans at the game? were they louder than in ANA?
see you in montreal in 2 weeks..

Thats nothing last winter i invited him to the NHL ALL STAR GAME,he said he was in then got hysterical on me, saying he was affraid,he even made a video about it.
NICKY WHERE IS THE VIDEO?is it still on Youtube?
Nickys ok,a good guy well known in the Italian\english gambling community in Montreal.
Nicky, I really don't have that much money. I gotthat jetblue promotion for jetpass that includes unlimited flights for a month just taking advantage of it.
Nicky, first off I wanna say that matty went above and beyond to show me a good time, prob one of the nicest separatists frogs in the entire city...second maybe it was the language barrier but some people didn't have the same kindness that you usually find in the states, it's hard to explain, I didn't like that fact that all the bouncers expected some sort of kickback all the time. I have never experiences that in the states. Also the strippers were deceptive with lap dances, if the song went over a few seconds they expected you to pay double, triple, and so on......that may not be a fair review on the entire city because I was mostly exposed to stripclubs.

Now that I finished my rant, I must confess that I enjoyed the city of Montreal. It reminded me of New York to a small scale. Good place to walk/bike around. Some nice sites to see. Good food and some cute girls.
As for the Habs game...I will give you that the actual decible level of the stadium was much louder than in Anaheim. I did have a major gripe that I discussed with matty though. When we walked outside at intermission, to check out Guy Lafleur statue, there was a massive line that took us like 20 minutes to get back in stadium. We missed part of second period. Also the bathroom lines were about the same wait. That would never happen where I live at Kings/Ducks games. Must be some flaw on design of stadium. Still an awesome experience though.

and that was a pre season game.. now come here for a playoff game and you'll leave deaf, 1000% deaf.. and the singing and celebrations will continue on the streets too, so you still will need to keep your ear plugs on..
this city is crazy over hockey..

I'm pretty sure they simulate crowd noise through the speakers to hype everyone up more. I know certain stadiums do that. I must have been only guy out of 17k with a different teams shirt on in the entire stadium. It was a random Ducks: Bertuzzi shirt I got during his one year tenure with us. I would walk around and hear (in thick french accent) "Fvck Bertuzzi!"....it was pretty funny.

Nicky, what is your opinion and/or experiences with these clubs. I mean you give the guy $5 to walk in door, $5 to be sat at table, $5 tip on drinks, $5 to go in back room (that just goes to a bouncer before you give girl money)...even after I took a piss the fukkin guy wanted $5 for handing me towel..
What do you think about that Nicky?

blitter, not a big strip club fan.. i used to when i was younger.. i find them very boring. once i am there for 20 min, i want to leave.. always the same shit.. it gets boring and long..
but from my experience, it's not that bad.. doorman gets 2 to 5 bucks at the door, 7 bucks for a drink, then 10 bucks for a lap dance.. it's not too bad..
if you get 2 drinks, 2 lap dances and stay 2 hrs.. it will ONLY cost you just over 35$...
that's not much for a night out with the boys at the strip here.
i am sure you found mtl strips and mtl strippers the best in north america, right??
btw, i wish you had gone to motel st pierre, you would have freaked.. very sleazy there.. i'm sure you would have loved it there much more.. it's more for you. but 30 min by car, so it is a bit far..

I was sorely disappointed with most strippers we saw... apart from these two in blitty's avatar, who were by far the nicest of the gang... they actually got personal with us. lol
Even I was surprised by the crowd at the Bell Centre... that was my first time at a pre-season game and I really wasn't expecting that much enthusiasm. I attended a bunch of playoff games before and while blitty didn't quite experience the deafening "wall of sound" that comes with a Habs goal during an important game, it was still pretty ****ing loud.
