Any intelligent explanations as to why lots of trades go off at $1.715 today? Usually it trades in whole cents, but today it stands out.

ETFC has a lil bull flag going for it on the hard right edge of the chart. Never know though if it will breakout. Sell it here and watch it open at 4-5 tomorrow. LOL!

Good morning, Shafty. ALY was up but only on very little volume so I'm not too excited about it. If it closes with a nice white/open candle today on volume, that would be a good sign.

ETFC is up 2 pennies at 1.71 pps in pm trading. You need a white candle today too to help it steam upward technically. Hope you get a good buyout offer.

The ALY chart is really starting to take shape here at 4.65 pps. If it can just hold we should then smoothly sail to 5 and likely 6 (if you're willin' to wait for it) in the coming weeks.

Thanks, Shafty. I will close FAZ before the weekend (too risky to hold over the weekend with earnings next week. 1070 SnP could come to be a new support level, as opposed to resistance at present, if the market shennanigans continue next week). Holding ALY still.

Shafty, the weekly charts on MS and BAC look really damned good and given how the strong versus weak dollar doesn't seem to really matter now, this market is looking more n more like a bull market where folks just don't care about the poor economic data.

I like, in the short term (couple weeks or less) GS for a move to 200, BAC for a move to 20 and MS (gorgeous ascending triangle on the weekly candles) for a move to 36. The low volume here today, combined with the over-all bullishness now, suggests to me as trader that this is a breather before what, despite my knowledge of the economic situation, will be a violent next leg up through 1070 S n P.

Watch FAS, GS, BAC and MS for a turn up. If the volume follows, grab on and ride the next wave imo.
