I think it's the "thrill" or "rush" of knowing you have dough on the line. I personally have had a hell of a time with that in the past. I've gotten killing doing that in the past, now I try to stick to sports I know something about i.e. basketball, baseball football. period.

Tennis has been the biggest bitch in the world to me but I used to bet it just to bet it. UFC same thing, Nascar same thing. Lesson learned, bet what you know.

JJ, a most intriguing topic and I can tell you, as a cured action junkie turned sagacious spot bettor, these broke phux have to bet every day because if they don't they will convince themselves that every game they "woulda bet" was a winner. That scares the hell out of em -- more so than actual losses!

They'd rather bet n lose a hundy than refrain and feel like they coulda won 90.

JJ i didn't gamble tonight. I took my kid to basketball practice then hit the bar with the blonde from the other night..... I got nothing going until Thursday football...... well got the ball game with her tomorrow night..... I'm getting out and about.... it's all good here.
