Anybody successfully cash one of the checks from Beirut, Lebanon. This beats it all. The checks are fake...I went to like 10 banks and even AceCashExpress trying to get the check cashed. Eventually, the Ace people kept my check b/c the ABA number is only 7 digits instead of 8, thus, making the check counterfeit or at least uncashable. Called sportsbook and they confirmed that they checks can't be cashed and that they would send me another one. Guess I will be waiting another few months....so pissed!!!

You might not want to spend your money to quickly. If it's true that these checks are fake, even if it looks like the check has cleared, the bank could still come back and devit your account if the check ultimately bounces. The banks often make the funds available before the check truly clears

I cashed my check about two weeks ago. It cleared with no problems. If these checks were fake, then my bank should have contacted me by now...... Why did you go to 10 different banks? You have ten different checking/saving account?

This is total speculation, but I wonder if part of the problem sportsbook.com is having with internatioanl players is that they aren't supposed to have any. As some of you will recall (please correct me if I ma wrong) but when Jazette bought the books form Sportingbet, part of the deal was that they would only take US customers. Then arrangements were made for Canadianms to be moved into sports.com. But my impression at the time was that they weren't suppose dot have nay players from outside North America. I wonder if Sportingbet is now demanding that jazette get rid of all thier non-American players.

I do disagree that the checks are fake because fake checks don't get deposited... There has been more then one who has had their check deposited but time will tell... It's amazing what fear does to people...

I mean why would the teller take the check in the first place if it is fake. I would think they train these people on how to spot a fake check. Plus i looked up the bank that issued the check and they look legit. Granted, I would feel better if the check was issue by Chase or Bank of America, but that isn't going to happen.

I requested payout from BETONUSA in mid-April for more than $10000 but still receive no money at this point. Is anyone sharing the same experience with me and can tell me how to deal with this problem?

You might want to contact them, and ask them to put the money back in your account. Then make smaller withdrawls. Do amounts under $2500. It seems like they would process those amounts faster than a huge lump sum of 10G's.

Actually I was on it twice yesterday. Once around 11:00am and again at 5:30pm and it worked just fine for me. Both operators were there within about 15 seconds to respond to my request.

I'm still waiting on 2 checks....from May. They have been "being traced" since early June. Methinks they don't have a CSI team working on the "trace".

These were issued right about the time they seemingly lost another processor and went about a month without paying anyone, so I'm guessing that processor took off with the funds & never actually cut the checks, but of course guessing is all one can ever do with Sportsbook CS.

So I just received notice that the shady check I received from sportsbook.com via some bank in Beirut Lebanon was rejected and it is actually not a valid check. So after waiting 2 months to receive money from these jerkoffs, they send me a fake check. WTF, now what am I supposed to do. This is ridiculous.

Are you sure the check is fake. Maybe if you went to Lebanon you could cash it. I oncegot a check from canbet that bounced. The reason it bounced was that it was written on a UK bank. So when my bank try to clear it through the regualr ACH system it bounced. Then they sent me another check that was written on a US bank, and it went through fine.

Actually I don't know if it was a fake, the bank is saying since it is a check written from a bank out of the country, they can't credit the funds to my account until they receive the money from the foreign bank. I guess just another way of delaying actual payment to their customers.

Funny how there is no thread like this one about WSEX. They take just as long to pay out, but never hear anything about it. WSEX an A rated book give me a break.

I might be wrong because I'm not playing at bodog, wsex, or betus. But i think themain difference between Sportsbook.com and those are books are:

1) I think otherbooks were paying people pretty much in the order payouts were requested. No one could figure out if there was any methodology to how Sportsbook.com chose who to pay. They kept taliking about a queue, but they clearly weren't paying people in order whihc added a lot to the anger and anxiety.

2) Cs kept lying to people about when payouts would go out, and how long it would take to recieve. I could be wrong, but I think the CS at the other books handled the situation better.

3) most importantly, you know with WSEX people have access to the management. If you have any real concerns you can start by going to Jay. With sportsbook.com, you can't get past cs. There is no one at Sportsbook.com with any authority, or real knowledge of what is going on that will speak to a customer.

Being slow paid is bad, but most of us can handle it. It is when the books start lying and picking and choosing who they are going to pay, that people get furious.

Yes I requested two... One on 6/9 and the other on 6/10.. Got both of those last week and the week before... I have one from 7-3 and I got an email last night saying it's one it's way via FedEx... I'm sure it will be here... I never called to check on this one because I figured it would be late Aug. before I get it but maybe not we'll see....

I just called FedEx and they said it is in the system... A label was created on Sat. but not yet in their possesion... That's fine I should have it soon then... Cool...

I can agree with that. Granted they didnt handle things the best way, but bottom line is everyone is getting paid. As far as talking about a queue thats all I get from WSEX when I ask about a withdrawal that has been pending for close to 6 weeks. No way an A rated book should pay that slow. If thats the case give Sportsbook an A+++++++, because they have way better props and bonuses and pay out in about the same amount of time.

I agree and although there are points to how they could have handled it better that is not the point... The point is simple and that is having to wait for your money from both... Sportsbook is T.O. and WSEX is Chad Johnson...
