I dont know about the things above but man i met some smokin hot Romanian chicks when i was in the UK and bounced into some 10 Romanian chick at the Fullerton ballys gym. Therefore making them priceless in my book.

I just remembered an episode of The Practice (one of my favorite shows of all-time, I just love defense attorneys) where some Romanian couple gave their 12 year old daughter away in marriage to satisfy some sort of family obligation. I doubt they could air a story like that if it wasn't rooted in truth. The father was looking forward to waving the bloody sheets from the marital bed the next day...
