Would love to hear opinions or comments from you guys on the board about this subject. What percentage of bettors actually are winners over a long period of time such as 15 years+ or even better yet, who here can say that they been a winning gambler over the long haul. Thanks in advance!!

15 years is hard to say.
The lines have tightened up quite a bit in recent years. The promotions of the early neteller years made it really easy to make lots of money. Plenty of people could be up over long term, but unable to win anymore.
It's really a function of where you play. I think Justin7 suggested 1% of players can win at the Pinnacle/Bookmaker/Greek's of the world while some C/D books may be as high as 10%.Comment -
I would think it's around 5%. As durito suggested in the old days of high bonus low roll overs and opinioned lines it was easier. Today most place have very vanilla lines and will boot you for steam plays. There's a reason Bet365 and SIA boot winners.... they don't want them.Comment -
Durito's post seems on the mark... I would guess that the number who beat the books simply by handicapping winners is close to zero because if they are smart enough to do that it doesn't make sense that they would be missing the easier opportunities as well...Comment
