I had hoped that our forum might be a place where new posters would be welcome to share their views without the automatic distrust, name calling and personal attacks that one finds on some of the other forums.

All I'm saying is that I've never had a problem with them. Yes, they have high limits and I use them because I can bet more with them that at BoDog or BetUS. But I've never had a bad experience at VIP, and I've had bad experiences with every other book I've ever tried.

The people at WSEX don't answer e-mails, I can't understand them on the phones, etc. At BoDog it's impossible to move a big amount of money. At BetUs I asked them to raise their limits and they said no.

I e-mailed CRIS 5 times asking them how to get a big amount into my account and they couldn't answer me.

All I know is that whenever I call VIP, they answer. And when I e-mail them, they e-mail me right back.

I do and like them a lot...unlike most other "recreational" shops they didnt cut my limits to silly amounts. Always pay fast and the automated bonus is nice.

As you can see nowhere i said they are better than the Greek, or Wsex or whatever.
All i said was the didnt cut me, they pay fast which they still did via Neteller a month ago, and that the automated bonus was some nice value.

Offshore in general

Look, the market for people who want to wager offshore blows right now. Bill Frist, who will be President right after Adolf Hitler, thought he did everyone a service. All he did was make it brutal on us. He didn't stop anyone, all he did was make it ridiculous for us to get money to the offshore books.

And I know of 2 guys that he sent back to regular street-corner books, which of course is a possibility for the rest of us if the offshore guys keep trying to run away from us.

If we find a place we like, stay there until the other shoe drops. And if we find a place that blows, that's what this forum's for.

That should really be the bottom line, no?

With all due respect, nowhere in Tunes' first post did he state that VIP was better than any other shop. He merely stated that his experience with their customer service was the best he's received out of all of his accounts.

Surely you can admit that each of us may have different experiences at a given book ... some good, some bad. Everyone is welcome to relate those experiences here on our forum ... just as you were with your first post ... without fear of name calling, bashing, whatever.

I think of myself as a good guy Sean, but if there is obvious crap i will sometimes call it out.

If that is not ok here feel free to move any of my posts to the private section. I have no problem with that.
But i will not change my posting style to always friendly, when people just plain out LIE about books.
Because this is after all the only real watchdog that is left, and if there is a shill he doesnt earn any respect, even when he is trying to play the nice and innocent guy.

Don't go changing who you are, man. But I guarantee you this ... shills will always be exposed on this and any other major forum. Personally, I like to give first time posters the benefit of the doubt ... if they're shills, we'll know soon enough. If they're not, then we may have gained another valuable poster with different experiences and perspectives than our own. Just got give 'em a little time.

I e-mailed CRIS today and told them I wanted to deposit $9000 into my account. They told me they couldn't help me.

I e-mailed WSEX today and told them I wanted to deposit $9000 into my account, they offered me bank wire instructions. The bank is in the UK, and I read somewhere either yesterday or day before, in another post, where a guy had a chunk of money seized that he tried to wire.

VIP gave me a bank account last week into which I wired funds, that account was in the USA and there was no hitch. The funds were in my account by that afternoon.

If you were going to wire or try to get a decent-sized amount into any book, where would you do it and how?

Many people believe that making a statement in the strongest possible way will compensate for any doubts or uncertainties hidden within that statement. (Politics as usual for this government).

People that come here from other forums can't possibly know how much in-depth knowledge about books there is on the SBR forum, so where a misstatement would go unnoticed somewhere else, it is immediately picked off here.

My books are funded, but I would use cashier checks and fedex until the weather clears.
Immediate transfers, that we were used to with Neteller, are completely unimportant to me now. If it takes a week, or two, fine.

If one can't wire without worrying, is there even a way to get a chunk into a book? I see sites with credit card limits of $500a day, $2000 per 30 days. The Greek has a limit of $500 for 30 days.
