Two weeks in......FAVRE 2nd highest rated QB
Only Brees has a better QB rating at this time.............obviously there are a few qb's that one would consider to be having a better start.............but he is off to a WAY BETTER start than such high notables as Romo and Rodgers.

Say all you want, FAVRE is GREAT!

Yes, it helps to have a great supporting cast around him currently, but that's part of the equation(see Montana for crying out loud).

Not to take anything away from Farve, but 1) he stepped into a situation with a good team that was already a contender, and 2) they've only played Cleveland and Detroit so far.

No gun slinging anymore, with Peterson in the backfield all he has to do is manage the game. He's been doing a great jog so far, but he only faced the soft defenses of Cleveland and Detroit.

We should all feel honored that he didn't retire..........he is just fun to watch, plain and simple.

The consecutive games started streak is now in a complete total sickness mode.......what a gamer.

Very, very true...........let's see how he is stands up in the QB rating department after week six is completed...........if he is still in the top three, I would be surprised. However, as a Packer fan, I'm pulling for him.

Again, true..........and the chances of this repeating in a way that is close to the same degree as last year is probably around 50-50, sorry to say.

However, this is a heckuva lot better offense than the Jets had.........

Farve will end up a toilet this year....Look who he beats, the punk teams. Last 4 weeks last year he looked like a bag of Wait until he plays a decent team.

mike, this vikings team was not a contender with tavaris jackson at the helm, but you are correct, they have played 2 shitty teams.

sure favre hurt the jets at the end of last year, but in reality, it was obvious when he got hurt and that he was playing hurt. the jets didnt have shit for a back up and a hurt favre was probably better than a healthy ainge or clemens. hard to blame what happened to the jets on him.

will be interesting to see what happens when he plays a team that gives AP trouble. he has yet to really air it out... 23-27 for 155 yesterday aint exactly throwing downfield.
