Last year Bodog (dot) com split and went its own way from the newly-created Bodoglife (dot) com.
Legal matters, profit squabbling, etc.- usual jealousy, et al. Bodoglife is really great with current odds, sports, horses and prompt payouts. Recommended. Use them and BetUs (dot) com.

I'm done with Bodog. Today has been a nightmare.

Who do you guys recommend a frustrated Bodogger switch to? I play NFL/NBA mostly. A little Soccer.

hmmm... Had a few poker tourneys running when the server went out and was probably at starting chips or above stack in each... I was unable to get logged back in (it kept saying my password was invalid) but was able to observe as one or two people at each table were stealing all the blinds... When I was able to get back in I was short in all my tourneys so it will be interesting to see how bodog handles it since they didn't pause the tourneys at the time of the crash like pokerstars or fulltilt typically do...

Guys, I've talked to the bodog.com tech team and they are still reviewing exactly what happened. Apparently the week 1 and week 2 games at 1pm ET went off without a hitch and the servers were not even over half way to capacity- they are puzzled as to why there would be a problem only after the first 4pm games started when volume was already decreasing. There are a few ideas however, and some high powered experts have been brought in to help them track down the exact cause faster. In the meantime, the good news is that the symptoms that occurred just before the worst of the problems have been documented- and the fix as well- which means a response time of a few minutes (instead of the few hours it was on Sunday) if there is a repeat. They will keep at it until they are 100% sure it won't happen again as the best response to a technical problem is not to have the problem in the first place.

                                Thanks,
                                Becky

After a couple emails back and forth with support to get the problem properly escalated to the right person I was able to get my buyins back... As this was probably more then my lost equity during the disconnect period I'm more then happy with the solution...

Although their first level support isn't always the best at understanding the exact nature of a problem the couple times I had issues there they have always taken care of them more then fairly in the end...
