betting football will fukk you in the end
95% of ppl lose overall by the time january gets here. does not matter how much you study pro and college football, there are too many factors you will never know, such as how a coach will gm plan, how injured or not injured a guy is, and which way the fumbles, int's, and special teams bullshit will go. i study my ass off at this and it has never ever ever been harder to beat than it is right now

only 5% can win at this long term

Somebody makes this post about every sport, every year. 95% of people are going to lose on everything, not just football.

i know, Dr, but football and basketball used to be my bread and butter, used to be much easier to find weak lines and whack them, now i can find those in basketball but the college foots and pro foots lines have become tighter than virgin pussy

95% chances (19 to 1) are that at the end of each calendar year you are down because even if you win at the pro foots gm you likely lose more on other sports than you win in pro foots

you cant beat it long term, maybe 1 season you win, then youll lose the next 3, doesnt matter how much you do research and study the shit, too many things you cannot predict like coaching, refs mistakes, int's, fumbles, it is too much to overcome and the juice will kill you. but, most will continue betting and lose all their hard-earned or borrowed cash and get barreled in, its a fukken cycle

I'm thinking about capping games, and picking the other side. I figure this way I may hit around 60%

great idea man, seriously. yrs ago there this guy scott wetzel (i think) on sportingnews radio and the guy would explain all the reasons why he liked a particular side in college or pro football, then at the end he would pick the opposite side, the whole point of this weekly piece on his show was that you cannot beat the sportsbooks because even when something looks too obvious or too easy in football, when everything points to one team, then the other team will rise up and cover

The lines are certainly sharper, but there lots of ways to make money.

Hit openers, find off market #'s, props, teasers, derivatives. There are so many betting options every week in football I love it.

unless you have a big bankroll, like maybe a million or more, it is not worth it to spend so much time on it. stock market and real estate completely blow away sports betting

I would say the opposite. At smaller bankrolls the returns from sports betting blow away what you can make in the market or real estate. But, the bigger your roll the lesser opportunities, whereas in stocks and real estate your probably need billions before having that issue.

good point durito, one must find a way to incorporate a few props into their betting strategy every week, easily the softest numbers to bet against, today I found one I really like, Chad pennington under 210.5 passing yards!

Football is the easiest sport to win. All the squares come out for football and it is reflected in the lines. I just wish there was more games. We need a 162 game schedule like baseball.

LOL mudcat. a lot of squares do come out for football that's why things like reverse line movement, which way a line is moving is important. Finding the best number after these happen are also important.
