Then why bother saying you're retiring from gambling? Just say "I did it again, I blew another deposit within a week, tune in again next week for the gyrations of me losing my money boys." You'd get a ton more respect for just admitting you're a slave to gambling than pretending to be above it all and then declaring you're superior to us.

I've never really claimed to be a winning gambler. I deposit what I can afford to lose and not lose sleep over. And I don't really care how respected I am on here.

onner, i swear when i was young at 17.. i went broke 7x over and over with my bookie and owed him big $$. i had to work 3 jobs for 15 months to pay him off, then when i paid him off and started again, within weeks, i'd go broke again..i was a kid and still learning the game.. all that losing woke me up and made me a smarter gambler. i started to see what i was doing wrong..

i then became a bookie and started seeing every customer go broke too.i then realized why i was losing, i was too wild and immature and just betting tv games, favs, parlays, etc.... i started to study gambling and hang around with the big boys and asked tons of questions to learn, and find ways to come up ahead and it's been a decent ride since.

the bottom line is to hang in there.. you are making rookie mistakes now.. you are still young.. with experience, you will become a better gambler. making mistakes is normal and will only make you a better gambler.. you learn something new every single day.. just don't chase, good money mgmt, and play weak #'s ONLY and you will be very ok over the very long haul

i no longer make the same mistakes as i did when i was a kid..
