Yeah it's a shame the way sports TV has been killed. Other than the 3 24-hour sports channels I get here, and the year-round hockey, pro hoops, college hoops, baseball, golf, pro football, college football, auto racing, skiing, tennis, figure skating, various Olympic-type sports etc. on other various channels, there is barely any sports at all.

There's a lot of people who don't belong in sports broadcasting/reporting. Some of them are women, but most that I'd like to see out of the biz are men who coat-tailed their dads into the industry.

It's just academic at this point, and sweet Jesus, hopefully it always will be, but how would you feel about a F2M transgendered announcer? Would that be worse or better than a regular hot chick as an announcer? Or what about just a straight-up full-on pure-premium bull dyke? Would that be distracting? Or what about a "boi"? I assume everyone on this board is familiar with the complete lexicon of non-heterosexual gender identity.
