Anyone know how to get Free HIGH SPEED Internet?

To make a long story short, I've been using fvcking dialup internet for the past while, and I'm just fvcking sick of it. Today was the last straw, when I couldn't get it to connect for 8 hrs! Was going to play the Angels since 11 fvcking AM. I'm livid that they won now, because I know these connection issues will screw me in the future also.

Does anyone know how to get free high speed internet, not wireless? Is this even possible?

i live in canada, so i dont think i can get comcast. i was just wondering, i got free dial-up because there were a few ISPs who offered it for free. was thinking there might be a few for high speed also

i dont know how to do that, do u need a laptop for that?... also, i'm in a poor rundown building, so i doubt someone in here would have a wireless connection.

You just need a computer with a wireless network adapter. Most new computers have one built in. Search for wireless connections in your area (that dont have a password) and even if they do most people use generic passwords like 5555555555 or some other easy to remember sequence of 10 numbers.

i didnt want to say that part because now i wont be taken as seriously. but it's a fanatic. he's not muslim, but picture a muslim fanatic against technology for NO reason. it's like the mind of a 5 year old, and their ideas of right and wrong, no explanations why. beer is bad. why? no explantion. tattoos are bad. why? no explanation. internet has naked women on it. no internet. why are naked women bad? no explanation.

it's frustrating, and this person is related so i have to live with him. i'm still in uni too and this bullshit is affecting my grades already and semester just started.

anyway, i'm not asking you for advice on that, i just wanted to know if there was a way i could use the internet from here for free, without occupying the phone lines. doesn't even have to be high speed..

Java joe's, country style donuts, certain mr. sub's all have free wifi. Learn to steal if your too cheap to pay. I don't pay for internet, cable and all that fun stuff unless I travel. I paid more in vegas for internet than I did for hotel rooms.

can you believe this?? while i'm responding to the thread, my fvcking internet disconnects again!! and it doesn't just disconnect and let u re-dial right away. no of course not, it stays connected, to not let you use the phone, and still not let u surf and shows errors for sometimes hours at a time. this is the worst. it's called CDotFree if anyone's heard of it.

How in the world has he not noticed the bulge created in your hijab from the computer you are using? I'm not even going to ask how you covered up the phone cord running out underneath it you where using for dial up...

Honestly though if you are actually using dial up (I used to have a connection specifically for traveling but it was completely unbearable long term) I can't believe your priority is responding repetitively to threads like these...
