OT - okay about this movie, Babel . . .

It's been getting good ratings and nominations and awards all over the place - including a nom for Best Picture Oscar.

Am I the only guy who found it to be painfully melodramatic and contrived? Am I the only guy who watched it and said,

LMAO mudcats watched this last night with girlfriend and thought the same thing. Not only was the move just not that interesting it was long as hell. Then for as drawn out as it was the ending is stupid.

I was really disappointed, as the last 3 movies ive seen with subtitles were very good. Maybe its just me but when I gotta read and movie is not that good it really pisses me off.
