Introducing... Philosophy Frog

I've always liked frogs, but never saw one up close... they don't really hang out much out and about in LA.

Was having a bad day last Thursday and was heading to my mailbox and met this dude;



I know, he's not the usual hot chick you'll find in my avatar. But after getting my mail and heading upstairs to watch the Tennessee Pittsburgh game, my $10 Tennessee/Under parlay hit, thanks in large part to a bit of good luck (Ward not scoring) that I rarely receive.

So for those of you wondering, this is Philosophy Frog. Hopefully he will bring us good fortune throughout football season

I like phrogs...ones with philosophy much better. Looks like you have a good one on your side. Was always fun catching tadpoles in mudholes as a kid and watching them grow into the little guys.

Yer kidding. Seems impossible based on my experiences. Not doubting you; it's just that they are so common all over the place all my life. There are so many shapes and sizes and makes and models. They do not seem fragile or fussy about where they would live.

They are not difficult to get close to. I would not have guessed they wouldn't be making appearances in California. I would have guessed it would be frog central.

Anyway, frogs are cool and Philosophy Frog looks like a fine upstanding frog.

That's what I respected most about Philosophy Frog. He's an upstanding dude. You can't really see in this picture, but under him under the sidewalk is a frog colony I think... he was on the lookout. You wouldn't just send any frog out to guard the colony.

I mean I've seen them in passing a few times, but like I said, never up close. In Los Angeles I'm sure they are around, but not in the heavily populated all-concrete type of places I lived. You rarely see lizards in big city LA, either.
