Live Betting - Advantages/Disadvantages?

you can get great lines betting live........but i did get the bills ML @ +190 last night up 17-13 before the new england luck ****ed me

haha, after i hit the +190 they scored to make it 24-13.....i already started counting my ****in money. i hate new england

Isn't another disadvantage that it's hard to get down, at least at MB. The few events I've watched, anyway, I'd rarely see decent sized offers go up.

Or has that changed? I haven't looked in on any of the live football on MB this year. How's the volume?

yeah, keep betting live games and you'll be broke fast.. wsex has outrageous lines like -4900/+1300 and matchy doesn't have enough demand in it.

live betting is for suckers.

Agree, for the most part, with Nicky here. Unless you have some sort of backtested live action model, chances are that you're not getting positive expectation on wagers.

Limits are very low on live betting. If your betting small ok, but if your trying to make money game or 2nd halfs are best.

I do live betting just for fun.

To each their own my friend. I've made tremendous amounts on live betting.

Advantages, let's you see how the teams are playing, how the game is being called, momentum etc. Chances to grab cheap lines or bet large on possible sure shots.

Disadvantages, chance to lose a ton, pausing occurs a lot during crucial times.

Depends on where you play and what events, but you can normally find plenty of action for big events. Matchy it still hit or miss.

I'm surprised live betting hasn't taken over yet. Way more fun. And more opportunity for an advanced player. Not enough games or money involved though it seems.

live betting sucks because of the pausing every second before each pitch, etc.. the best live betting by far is at pinny.. they only put up a line after every 1/2 inning or every commercial for NFL. that to me is better and no stress on waiting for your bet to be matched and you have 8 seconds to do it.

i prefer pinny where after every half inning, the line will be like this.

-580/+530.

fair and more laid back.
