Why not two MNF games every week ?

Seems like it would get ratings, at least on the West coast for the late game,probably decent in the East, too.

Maybe the same for Sat/day too ( two NFL games), right from week 1.

I'm East coast too,don't care about watching sports at all, but I'll bet it.

I'd watch Fast Times at Ridgemont High, yet again over an NFL game.

Point is, I think two Mon/day games make broadcasting sense.

Seems like overkill. The thing that makes the NFL appealing is that it is played, for the most part, on two days per week. As far as the Saturday thing goes.

I doubt the second monday night game would get great ratings if it was played every week, as a once a season thing, it works.

'Cause MrsX would be very unhappy. There's only so far we can stretch their patience. I have a hard enough time explaining the existence of Thursday night games.

I stayed up for the bills but crashed for the SD game. I get up at 4:30..... can't stay awake that long.
