You got a rare insight on ESPN last night seeing the Raiders operation up front and close even compared to what you see on the FOX telecasts.Grant you,the Raiders put in a good effort for the talent they have but it's like the whole Raiders operation looks and has a feel for being a team from the early 80's.They don't need to even wear throwback jerseys to bring you back in time.I'll bet their practice facilities are even inferior.The players look like the old Los Angeles Thunderbirds roller derby players.In a way it's kind of neat seeing a baseball stadium still doubling as a football stadium with awful viewing angles and the infield dirt coming into play.The whole Raider Venue is so low brau.Even the coaches wear street clothes.

Coming from a guy who knows the Raiders all to well (and thats not a good thing)...this is quite accurate. I did not go last night because it gets tiresome. I do not enjoy getting pelted with beers or being called a faggot (though most from the bash can tell you I pretty much enjoy a drunk atmosphere).
The Oakland-Alameda Coliseum is a lot of fun however. If you have never been I suggest checking it out.Comment
