    Possible bug in BTP program
My situation is in the Beat Vegas Dave contest, but the 2 contests use the same software. I posted this in the message section of Beat Dave, but so far no reply from anyone running these contests.

My week 2 was 4-0 for +4.97 units.

it's only .03 units and won't matter for pts, but I'm curious as to how I could go 4-0 and be less than +5 units. the rules state than you play to win 1 unit for neg odds and risk 1 unit for positive odds.

here's why it happened. When I selected the game, it was -105. Then when I clicked to confirm, it said the line changed to -108 and "do you accept?". I said yes. So it kept my risk at 105 and lowered the win amount. I don't like this as it relates to the rules of risk 1 or win 1. No big deal - only .03 , but I like accuracy and it is an interesting problem because it forced a contradiction of the rules.

Do the contest organizers want this exception to the rules to be possible. In this case , it means nothing - but imagine the grand prize in BTP going to the wrong person because of this.

im lost...sounds like you just forgot to pick a "best play" which is worth 2 units and thats how you get 5 units for winning 4 games... i could be wrong though. you should just go 1-7 in the contests like i did last week and you wont have this problem again.

ahh, well thats a horse of a different color hh. (small glitch like you said i guess) the only rational explanation is that sbr deems it necessary for you to spot dave and theprick at least .03 units due to you being a better handicapper. gotta make shit fair hh.

For some reason, system shows you risking 1.05 on Navy -7 -108! Not sure why.

LT, please read my paragraph that starts "here's why it happened.." .

I wonder if the contest organizers want a situation contrary, as unlikely as it is, to the " risk 1 ( positive odds) or win 1 ( negative odds) rule.

Besides the possibility of this affecting the grand prize order, it could be the difference between beating the Prick (collect $) or not (0 $ ) if both have the same W-L and it comes down to units.
